Israel’s performance challenges are becoming more complicated
Quite a few projects built in recent years in Israel include engineering and planning challenges that seem almost impossible.
Recently, a dark building was built in Herzliya, built by Best Construction for Gav Yam Properties and Building.
The central element and one of the engineering challenges in the building is a quasolite metal cube (prominent from the building). This is a five-story cube, each of which is 300 square meters, an engineering element that did not yet exist in Israel.
The engineering term for this type of element is “complex Virendale”, which allows the cube to stand out without supporting the edge of supporting columns and without diagonals within the frames.
