The Project
The Northern Inpatient Tower will rise to 25 stories and span approximately 61,000 sqm, located at the northeastern corner of Ichilov Hospital (on a site of approximately 9 dunams).
The building will include, among other functions, inpatient wards, a rehabilitation department system, a physiotherapy institute, a medical simulation center, a nursing school, and all supporting services required for a modern hospital.
The project will be carried out while maintaining the hospital’s continuous operation.
In the first phase, the tower will include inpatient floors (approximately 39,000 sqm). In the second phase, an additional 12 floors will be added as part of a future tower, bringing the total built area to approximately 66,000 sqm.
The project will also include five basement levels connected to the Weizmann Center, housing medical service areas, parking, and dual-purpose protected floors designed for use as a fortified emergency hospital.
