
Project Acquisition
In 2009, the company acquired two properties in a package deal:
- 200 Rose Glen Street, Port Hope
- 108 South Angeline Street, Lindsay
The property at 200 Rose Glen Street was a fully occupied commercial property with a single tenant, medical offices. The building’s size is 20,653 sq ft, and there are also 3 acres of vacant land on which additional buildings can be constructed. The acquisition of the property was made due to its high future potential, the type of property, the location, and the opportunity for further development of the adjacent land.

The Result
Since the acquisition, we have completed significant renovations to the property to meet the requirements and needs of our tenant – the property is fully occupied by Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit. We are currently in the planning stages to establish a small industrial property of 68,000 square feet on the adjacent land.
The value of the property on Rose Glen Street has significantly increased since its acquisition. We have high expectations for the development of the adjacent land, especially in light of the strong demand for industrial spaces. Most of the existing inventory of small industrial buildings in the area is outdated and unattractive, which enhances the potential for the new development.
